  2. OSINT: Chinese Submarine Seen in Myanmar

    Flag China Fresh imagery posted on TikTok appears to confirm that the Chinese Navy (PLAN) submarine seen entering the Malacca Strait on December 20 was heading to Myanmar. The Type-035 Ming Class boat was flying a Chinese flag as it entered the Strait.

    It is unclear from the imagery whether it was still flying that flag.

  4. UPDATED: Chinese Navy Type-094 Jin SSBN in Taiwan Strait

    Flag China A Chinese Navy submarine, provisionally identified as a Type-094 Jin Class SSBN, is transiting the Taiwan Strait. The submarine is transiting north from the submarine base at Yulin in the South China Sea. It is surfaced and escorted by another vessel.

    Update: A submarine, likely the same one, is now in Huludao in Northern China.
