The Russian Navy's new special mission submarine, K-329 Belgorod, has returned to the construction hall. The submarine is expected to start sea trials soon so this may be a temporary measure to inspect the hull.

Modern submarines are undoubtedly amongst the most powerful and effective warships to ever exist. And those offered by Russia's famous Rubin Design Bureau are among the most capable.
What Rubin feels the world needs is a much more modest submarine. One which is particularly well suited to the types of missions that regular boats are too treasured for.

Another Narco-Submarine Found In Colombian Jungle
This almost complete narcosub was found at a complex for the production of cocaine. The make-shift facility is believed to relate to the “Western Block Alfonso Cano” (Bloque Occidental Alfonso Cano).
Based on the limited photographs available the vessel is provisionally identified as a LPV-OM-VSV-8.
