U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Stratton (WMSL-752) intercepted a narcosub in Eastern Pacific Ocean, Aug. 27, 2018. The vessel is from the Converted Speedboat LPV (Low Profile vessel) lineage and is almost identical to the LPV above. It had three outboard motors. Few details. Ref dvidshub.net

U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Stratton (WMSL-752) intercepted a narcosub in Eastern Pacific Ocean. The vessel is from the Converted Speedboat LPV (Low Profile vessel) lineage but appears lengthened. It is not a clear VSV (Very Slender Vessel) however. Few details. Ref dvidshub.net
Narcosub intercepted by El Salvador
2nd October 2018
El Salvador has intercepted a narcosub in Eastern Pacific Ocean, 450 nautical miles south of the Port of Acajutla, Sonsonate, on 2nd October 2018. The vessel is from the Converted Speedboat LPV (Low Profile vessel) lineage and is almost identical to many previous craft (see above!). It had four outboard motors and was carrying 2 tonnes of cocaine in 100 packages, each consisting of 20 packs of approximately one kilogram of cocaine. Three Colombians were arrested aboard the vessel. Ref elsalvador.com
