OSINT Analysis Shows That Iran Launched A New Missile Boat

Flag Iran While everybody and their mother watches the Iranian Navy's largest warship, Makran, transit the English Channel, the IRGC has quietly launched one of its new missile corvettes. The boat, which is a large stealthy catamaran design, was launched at a yard on Qeshm Island between June 27 and July 2.

The new type of missile boat has been provisionally identified as the Shahid Soleimani-class. Three have been under construction at various shipyards in Iran. They are much larger than preceding IRGC missile boats and represent a step change for their naval force.

Length: 65 meters (est)
Beam: 19 meters (est)
Speed: Tbc
Armament: 4 x C-802 / Noor / Qader anti-ship missiles. Likely small autocannon, machine guns and possibly air-defense missiles.
